Marton Veress - Founder

Marton Veress started building his drumming career in the United States in 2012 when he received a scholarship to one of the top music schools in America: The Collective School of Music in New York City. In 2014, he got another scholarship to one of the best Universities in New York, the SUNY Purchase. He obtained his diploma in Arts Management at the International Business School Budapest in 2016.
 
Besides building his artistic career, Marton always felt important to pass the immeasurable experience and knowledge he gained on premium levels of both national and international grounds.

Marton was giving private/group lessons to all levels and ages at White Oak Music and Arts Los Angeles, PA Studios Los Angeles, Kidz Rock La Habra and Artist Factory Studios Budapest.

Marton's Career

Marton’s name might sound familiar for Hungarian metal fans, since he was the member of the country’s leading heavy metal band, Pokolgep for years. His talent got recognized overseas as well when he became the drummer of the ex-Arch Enemy guitarist Chris Amott’s band, Armageddon. Marton played on main stages with Armageddon from the US, to South America, Europe and Japan.

In 2017 Marton moved to Los Angeles, where he worked, recorded and performed with some of the biggest names of the music industry like Jake Pitts (Black Veil Brides), Eric Ron (producer – Panic at the Disco, Godsmack, etc.) Jay Gordon (Singer/Producer - Orgy, Linkin Park, Korn,etc.) just to name a few.

In 2019 he became the official member of the legendary multi platinum/ gold record rock band, Orgy. Besides Orgy, Marton also joined the metal band Davey Suicide and toured with Assuming We Survive opening up for Sum41. Marton is endorsed by Paiste Cymbals and Artbeat Drumsticks.

Christian Bruni  
IDS Faculty Member

Christian is a trilingual professional drummer and educator from Italy.
He graduated with a B.A. degree in Music Performance – Drums at the Music Academy of Bologna in the 2016/17 academic year.

 

In 2018 he became a certified drum educator at the A.M.M. National School and the official endorser of Murat Diril Turkish Cymbals.

Christian participated in the “Rockin’1000” events four times already, which was a candidate event for the Guiness World Records.
Besides touring internationally with cover bands and other groups, he is currently playing in the rock band called Rolling Carpets.

Illes Halasz
IDS Faculty Member

Illes Halasz has been playing drums for almost 25 years. He studied percussion at the University of Debrecen and the Buchmann-Mehta School of Music Tel Aviv.  
As a drummer and as a percussionist, he has worked on numerous projects, including symphonic orchestras, theater gigs and various bands. Besides giving lessons at the Bartók Conservatory of Békéscsaba, he had been teaching in various national music schools all over Hungary since 2013. 
Most recently, he is the drummer of the extreme metal band, From The Sky.
